Fair dice
Don't trust us — verify
- 01
We lock our seed
Before the match, the server picks a secret seed and shows you its SHA-256 fingerprint.
- 02
You add yours
Your browser adds its own random seed. Every roll is computed from both seeds together.
- 03
You check every roll
When the match ends we reveal our seed. Your browser recomputes all dice and confirms nothing was changed.
Frequently asked questions
Is Xounu free?
Yes. You can play against the computer for free, without an account.
What is the difference between backgammon and tavla?
The moves are the same. In Turkish tavla the opening winner rolls again, and a gammon (mars) is worth 2 points with no triple backgammon.
How do you stop cheating?
The game runs on our server. Your browser only sends the move you want; the server rolls the dice, checks the move and keeps the score.
Can I play with friends online?
