Who we are

Xounu (xounu.com) is the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests: privacy@xounu.com.

What we process and why

Game data: the state of your match, your moves, the dice and a random match key. They are processed to run the game and keep it fair (performance of the service / legitimate interest). Matches are deleted from our servers 24 hours after the last activity. We don't ask for your name, email or an account.

Your browser: the match in progress and your settings (board view, sound, auto-confirm, language, cookie choice) are kept in your browser's local storage. This is strictly necessary for the service and is not shared with us beyond what the game sends.

Technical data: like every website, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (legitimate interest).

Security records: with each match we keep the players' IP address, approximate location (from the IP) and device details (model, operating system, browser, screen size) for 30 days, to investigate cheating and abuse (legitimate interest). Only Xounu's operator can see them.

Statistics, only with your consent: Statcounter counts page views and records, for example, your browser, device, approximate location, referring page and IP address, using cookies. Legal basis: your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies and local storage

Necessary (no consent needed): xounu:game, xounu:view, xounu:muted, xounu:autoConfirm, xounu:lang and xounu:consent in local storage. Xounu sets no cookies of its own.

Statistics (only with consent): Statcounter cookies, used to recognise returning visitors. If you withdraw consent we delete them and stop loading Statcounter.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link.

Service providers and transfers abroad

Cloudflare (hosting, game servers) and, with your consent, Statcounter (statistics) process data for us. Their servers may be located outside Türkiye and the EU; statistics data is transferred on the basis of your explicit consent.

Your rights

Under KVKK (Law No. 6698, Article 11) and the GDPR you can ask whether your data is processed, get information and a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing, ask for it to be restricted or transferred, and withdraw consent. Send requests to privacy@xounu.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or your local data protection authority.
